Intersect Studio is an architecture and design practice operating at the convergence of concept and craft. We believe the most compelling work emerges through collaboration, where disciplines overlap, ideas are rigorously tested, and making is integral to thinking.

Our process is grounded in material honesty and a timeless modern sensibility. Each project is shaped by its site, context, purpose, and the practical realities of the built environment. We approach design as an act of making, learning through doing, refining through iteration, and valuing precision and process as much as imagination.

With over twelve years of experience spanning from bespoke residential and hospitality architecture to the design and fabrication of custom furniture, lighting, and motorcycles. Our practice is informed by curiosity beyond traditional architectural boundaries, these influences challenge convention and reconnect us to a legacy of master builders, where design and fabrication were inseparable.

Whether at the intersection of site and the built environment, a material, or disciplines, we identify these points and celebrate them, creating meaningful work and lasting relationships.

Jeff grew up in Herring Cove, Nova Scotia, where summers working in construction with his grandfather sparked an early appreciation for building and making. A formative meeting with a local architect, including a tour of his home and insight into the profession, clarified Jeff’s path and set forth the path to Architecture.

Jeff studied at NSCAD University and Dalhousie University before completing a Bachelors of Environmental Design (BEDS) and his Masters of Architecture (March) at Dalhousie University.

After graduating, Jeff rejoined Omar Gandhi Architect following a previous work term during his studies. He spent thirteen years with the firm, becoming an Associate and a central figure within the studio, working closely with founder Omar Gandhi on many of the firm’s most recognized projects.

As Associate and Project Architect, Jeff developed a deep understanding of architectural practice, gaining experience across all phases of a project from concept through construction.
