TILT HOUSE

Tilt House is A 1,000 sq ft backyard suite designed to balance privacy with long-term solar performance. Minimal south-facing glazing reduces heat gain while maintaining separation from the main house.

The north elevation rises to tilt the roof plane southward, maximizing solar exposure. Inside, this move creates a generous volume, expressed through exposed ceiling joists and a large clerestory window.

Plywood cladding throughout the interior brings warmth, texture, and a cohesive material language.
